CHStage Supporting Cast

Be a part of our supporting cast by joining our parent organization. CHStage Supporting Cast’s Parent Association is organized to support CHStage. Parents are encouraged to help out in many ways throughout the production process. The Supporting Cast Foundation supports the students and directors but does not dictate CHStage policies or guidelines.

Responsibilities of CHStage Supporting Cast include:

• Tech Week Dinners
• Tech Week Lite Snacks
• Selling Concessions, tickets, roses
• Financial Assistance / Fundraising
• Contacting Business Sponsors / Advertising
• Program creation, proofreading and printing
• Aiding with posters and poster distribution
• Any parents can become involved in the Association. It is not necessary for your students to have leadership positions in the company. The Leadership Team’s Parents ARE NOT required to be the leaders of the Parent’s Association.

Please keep in mind that while we encourage and appreciate parental involvement, one of the cornerstones of CHStage is student leadership and responsibility. It is important that we allow the students to try new things, learn from mistakes and develop life skills such as time management, teamwork and conflict resolution. When students are expected to take responsibility for their own actions, the development of these concepts is much stronger.
